Foot health is not always part of people’s concern when thinking about well-being. However, feet are a fundamental part of achieving quality of life. Podiatrist Kalissa Arnoni explains that the feet are essential for mobility, health, and carrying out daily activities. However, dysfunction in this region can generate pathology at different levels.

Some factors can lead to the development of diseases and complications. “Being overweight can interfere with walking. Wearing the wrong type of footwear, especially uncomfortable shoes, lack of hydration, exposure of the feet to sun without protection, and spending long periods standing are some of the main factors,” she points out.
