ACADEMY FOOT AND ORTHOTICS CLINIC NOW OFFERING SWIFT FOR PAINFUL PLANTAR WARTS

SWIFT is the latest technology to help treat stubborn, persistent and painful plantar warts. We are now offering SWIFT at Academy Foot and Orthotics Clinics. Warts are usually treated with topical agents - over the counter and in clinic - some of which are including but not limited to: cryotherapy, acid, blistering, salicylic acid or needling. Some of these treatments may cause blistering or pain and may even be messy and need daily attention. 

SWIFT is non-destructive and non-invasive, it uses microwave technology which generates heat inside the verruca and uses the body's immune system to help fight the wart. Typically used once a month for 3 treatments and can have up to an 86% chance of removal. The benefit of SWIFT is minimal/no discomfort after treatment, no blistering/scarring and no everyday treatment which means activities can be resumed as normal post-treatment.
