DR WIN'S FUNGAL NAIL THERAPY

Dr Win L. Chiou is a pharmaceutical scientist that has come up with a new product, Fungal Nail Therapy which contains 1% clotrimazole in a special 10 ml bottle.

He discusses the shortcomings of current fungal nail treatments. First, most fungal nail treatments are fungistatic meaning they do not kill fungal growth but rather slow the progression or inhibit new fungal growth. They have high recurrence rates - 50%. Also, slow penetration into nails which is why debridement or thinning of nails if often required. Tedious application leading to non-compliance and requiring nail polish removal. Lastly, adverse effects of fungal oral medications such as hepatic function and pregnancy avoidance.

Since all of these reasons hinder antifungal medication efficacy, Dr Win has come up with a new product which is fungicidal, rapidly and strongly penetrates nails and skin and requires application only 4 times a week as opposed to every single day.
