PODIATRY AND THE AGING POPULATION

As we go deeper into the twenty first century, there is going toe an increasing need for podiatry and foot care. There is a continuing increases in the number and percentage of individuals aged 65 and older in North America and worldwide. As the population ages, so does the need for healthcare and health problems. Individuals will also tend to have more chronic diseases including Diabetes and Circulation issues both which will increase the need for podiatrists.
