SHOES AND WHY DO WE WEAR THEM

THERE ARE 8 BASIC STYLES OF SHOES AND THEY HAVE REMAINED UNCHANGED FOR A LONG TIME.  HEY ARE THE SANDLE, THE MONK, THE MOCCASIN, THE MULE, THE CLOG, THE PUMP, THE BOOT AND THE OXFORD.  ANIMAL SKINS AND NATURAL RESOURCES WERE USED BY EARLY MANKIND IN THE MAKING OF FOOTWEAR.  EARLY ON SHOES WERE MADE AS MUCH FOR DECORATION AS FOR PROTECTION.  SHOES HAVE REMAINED REMARKABLY UNCHANGED OVER TIME.
