PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD NOT WEAR HIGH HEELS

Five months pregnant, four-inch heels, three dangerous scenarios. Those are the painful numbers behind the Duchess of Cambridge’s insistence on wearing high heels despite having a baby on board.

"The risk of stress fractures, bursitis, and capsulitis are increased when a pregnant woman routinely wears heels," said Dr. Isaac Tabari of the NYC Podiatry Center of Excellence in Midtown. "Pregnant women should not wear high heels every day."
