Summer is a great time to be more physically active outdoors but don't take for granted the part of your body that makes it all possible. Your feet. "Injuries (to the feet) are very prevalent in nice weather," said Dr. Car
 
Cortese encourages people who are new to long-distance walking or running or have been away from them for a while to begin walking for 15 minutes a day, then each week add five minutes. Gradually increase your speed.
