IF FEET ARE SORE LONGER THAN TWO WEEKS SEEK TREATMENT

Today is the start of National Foot Health Month, and Firm Foundations podiatrist Rebecca Gilroy is urging Southern Downs residents to start thinking about the care of their feet. "A lot of people think that feet should hurt," she said. "Sore feet are not normal. If it goes on longer than two weeks, you should see a podiatrist."

"Anyone who is a diabetic, has vascular disease, or is over 60 years old should get their feet checked out," said Gilroy.
