DR. HARDY PROVIDES SOME WINTER FOOTCARE TIPS

DR. HARDY, OWNER OF ACADEMY FOOT AND ORTHOTIC CLINICS PROVIDES SOME WINTER FOOT CARE TIPS FOR OUR PATIENTS.  ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN COLDER CLIMATES IS TO KEEP YOUR FEET PROPERLY MOISTURIZED DUE TO THE DRYER CONDITIONS IN WINTER.  STILL ONE OF THE BEST MOISTURIZERS IS VASELINE, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE MANY GOOD PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET, BUT USUALLY MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE.  THE OTHER IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION IS TO KEEP YOUR FEET WARM AND DRY.  I RECOMMEND BABY POWDER IN YOUR WINTER SHOES, BOOTS, SKI BOOTS AND SKATES.  IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THE TOE BOX PROVIDES ENOUGH ROOM SO THAT THE CIRCULATION OF THE FOOT IS NOT COMPROMISED.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY DR. JOHN A. HARDY, OWNER OF ACADEMY FOOT AND ORTHOTIC CLINICS.
