Slip-on shoes may be easier to put on and take off, but when it comes to comfort and injury prevention, it is not the best option. Make sure your shoes are firmly attached to your feet: sandals with adjustable straps and lace-up shoes are the best. “Unfortunately, ballet flats look great but will cause you all sorts of problems,” said Dr. Hiren Patel, podiatrist at Flawless Feet Limited.
