PODIATRIST STATES THAT METATARSAL PAIN IS OFTEN MISDIAGNOSED AS MORTON'S NEUROMA

Podiatrist, Dr. Lowell Weil, Jr. states, "Pain in the ball of the foot is often misdiagnosed as Morton’s neuroma,Deformities of the bones in the ball of the foot are sometimes the actual problem. An overly long second metatarsal bone may cause pain, damage to a ligament, a change in toe position, and even dislocation of the toe joint."

At Academy Foot and Orthotic clinics we are not quick to classify all pain in the lateral forefoot as Morton's Neuroma as often times it is not.  The 6 Chiropodists / Foot Specialists employed at our foot clinic take pride in providing each patient with a thorough and comprehensive case history and examination in order to help us better determine the cause of your pain in order to provide you with a treatment plan which will provide results.

If you or a loved on requires honest, competent advice, foot care or custom orthotics than look no further than our Toronto foot clinic, Academy Foot and Orthotic Clinics.

Brought to you by Dr. John A. Hardy, owner of Academy Foot and Orthotic Clinics.
