2016 HAS BEEN A VERY GOOD YEAR FOR ACADEMY FOOT AND ORTHOTIC CLINICS AS WE HAVE HAD A RECORD YEAR AND ADDED SEVERAL NEW MEMBERS AND ARE NOW OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK.

WE HAVE BIG PLANS FOR 2017 AND PLAN TO ADD MORE PRACTITIONERS AND 4 MORE TREATMENT ROOMS AS WELL AS ADDING X-RAY. I PLAN TO HIRE A CHIROPRACTOR IN ORDER TO UTILIZE X-RAY AND ALSO TO BE ABLE TO TREAT A MUCH WIDER ARRAY OF INJURIES AND CONDITIONS AND NOT HAVE SUCH A LIMITED SCOPE OF PRACTICE.  THIS WILL BE GREAT NEWS FOR OUR BELOVED PATIENTS.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY DR. JOHN A. HARDY, OWNER OF TORONTO FOOT CLINIC, ACADEMY FOOT AND ORTHOTIC CLINICS.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or Agency) has determined that Powdered Surgeon's Gloves, Powdered Patient Examination Gloves, and Absorbable Powder for Lubricating a Surgeon's Glove present an unreasonable and substantial risk of illness or injury and that the risk cannot be corrected or eliminated by labeling or a change in labeling. Consequently, FDA is banning these devices. This rule is effective on January 18, 2017.
